Why 2ATA Is More Effective
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is driven by one key factor: PRESSURE!
As pressure increases, more oxygen dissolves directly into your plasma (the liquid part of your blood) — not just your red blood cells. This allows oxygen to reach deeper into tissues, including areas with poor circulation.
Most chambers operate at 1.3–1.5 ATA, which provides a mild increase in oxygen delivery.
Our system operates up to 2.0 ATA — delivering a significantly higher level of oxygen absorption and a stronger overall effect on the body.
In simple terms:
Higher pressure = more oxygen available = greater impact from each session.
Less time. Better results. Better value.

Diver Medic Technician
Director, Assessor,
Dorset Oxygen Therapy is led by Robert J. King,
A commercial diver and Diver Medic Technician with over 10 years’ experience working with hyperbaric systems in operational environments.
This experience comes from commercial diving, where pressure and oxygen are managed to keep divers safe during deep and extended work, shaping a structured and practical approach to every session.
"We operate at pressures up to 2.0 ATA, at the upper end of what is typically used in non-clinical hyperbaric environments. Higher pressure allows more oxygen to dissolve into the bloodstream during each session, increasing overall efficiency compared to lower-pressure systems commonly operating at 1.3–1.5 ATA."
